Interviewed by host Farah Nayeri, Biennale-winning Boyce speaks openly and eloquently about the pros and cons of being the first black British woman to win Venice, shares her thoughts on the death of Queen Elizabeth II and tells of how she was once accused of cancelling a 19th century male British painter.

Arts and culture writer Nayeri, a contributor of The New York Times, is author of Takedown: Art and Power in the Digital Age (Astra House, New York). Originally from Iran, she spent her childhood years in Tehran, Rabat and Cairo before settling in Paris, and latterly, London.
